Prime Routine is a blog about training in the middle of an ordinary life — a job, a commute, a body that has opinions. It covers barbell strength, aerobic base work, and the nutrition habits that support both, written for people who want to understand why a recommendation exists rather than just follow it.
What you'll find here
- Programs written out in full — sets, reps, progression, and what to do when it stalls. Not a teaser for a paid PDF.
- The reasoning behind the rule, so you can adapt it when your circumstances don't match the article's.
- Honest error bars. Where the evidence is strong, I'll say so. Where it's one small study and a lot of confident internet, I'll say that too.
What you won't
- Affiliate links, discount codes, or supplement partnerships.
- Six-week transformation promises.
- Claims that any single exercise, food, or fasting window is the thing standing between you and your goals.
Credentials, honestly stated
I'm not a doctor, a dietitian, or a certified coach. I'm a reasonably strong amateur who reads the literature carefully, cites it where it matters, and has made most of the available mistakes personally. Everything here is general information about training and nutrition — it is not medical advice, and it can't account for your history, injuries, or medications. For anything specific to you, talk to a professional who can actually examine you.
